Jeremiah was sent on a field trip to the potter's house. There he watched the potter at the wheel, work and rework the clay to form a vessel as he willed.
Judah was the clay rebelling against the Potter. They refused to submit to the Lord's sovereign hand.
We are the clay, too.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
Submit to the gentle hands of your loving Creator today. Though you may not understand what He's doing, He will work in you His good pleasure.
Thank you for this, Stephanie, the reminder to trust through any shadowy/stormy/foggy place. Hope.
Amen, may I ever cooperate with Your divine purposes
