Restrained follows the final years of the kingdom of Judah through the reigns of her last kings, the ministry of Jeremiah, the fall of Jerusalem, and the exile in Babylon. Rather than studying these events as disconnected stories, you will walk through them chronologically, watching the biblical timeline unfold as prophets, kings, invasions, and waves of captivity intersect.
 
But Judah’s story does not end in the ashes of Jerusalem. Follow the exiles into Babylon, sit beside them in captivity, stand with Ezekiel in a valley of dry bones, and watch as the Lord works in the very place of their discipline. What appears to be the end becomes a remarkable testimony to the sovereignty, faithfulness, discipline, and mercy of God.
